Jackie's Upcoming CD
I'm very excited about my next CD. It will be my most introspective collection of songs. The album is called Jackie Carlyle “Unmasked” and I will be going into the studio very soon to record these personal, spiritual and uplifting messages of life and love.
In the meantime, please check out my other CDs, “Sculptures Made of Air” featuring Alexsey Zahkarenko, “Into the Light” and “Souls In The Breeze” plus single songs for purchase.
The Pacha’s Pajamas Project
Pacha’a Pajamas is a nature-themed Children's Pop Musical with a soundtrack including famous performers Mos Def, Cheech Marin, Talib Kweli.
Jackie’s song “Horses Don’t See Colors” was chosen for the soundtrack and was reviewed as one of the 2 favorite songs on the CD.
The story leverages pop culture, music and humor to cultivate social consciousness is a playful and inspiring manner.
Pacha’s Pajamas is the Independent Music Award Vox Pop Winner for Best Children's Music.

Pacha’s Pajamas is a children’s Pop Musical, and an urban fairy tale that centers on a little girl with big dreams. One night, the animals and plants on her new pajamas come alive. It’s a message for all of nature and humanity. This CD features 4 generations of artists (55 total) including Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Cheech Marin, Mojora Carter, Lil Jaxe, Ta’Kaija Blaney, MC Fireworks, Jackie Carlyle and more.
The CD kicks gets off the ground nicely with “Pachas’ Theme” The musicianship of everyone involved is above the bar. I would classify this music as classic Children’s Pop with brief touches of Reggae and Caribbean Brazilian-Pop type overtones. There's even a Rap and a Country piece. What I like the most about this catalogue is how well all the pieces seem to groove together, a testament to hundreds of hours of writing and behind the scenes production work no doubt. Now turning our attention over to all the performers - as for their individual contribution – all amazing! From start to finish Pachas Pajamas is an amazing collection of stories and music. The songwriting and overall storyboard messages– world class, all consistent musical experiences, each one possessing a unique personality, flair, and signature groove. Note for note, song for song there isn’t really a weak piece on this entire catalog. A Story written by Nature volume 1 is sure to be a hit and inspire kids to become Superheroes for the planet.
